Below is what’s coming up through to July on the fells and off-road and entry details.

We want lots of blue and white hoops out over the summer enjoying the fells – whether you are leading the field, in the pack, or keeping the sweeper company. If you are new to the fells or off-road perhaps target some of the shorter easier events to help you find your fell legs – Austwick Amble, Eldwick Gala Fell Race, and Heptonstall Festival Race – they all have their challenges so you will get a good outing, and they are all alongside Village activities – so make a good outing for family and friends too. Also the Bradford Millenium Way Relay makes a great introduction to local off-road running; we are planning a number of teams including steadier paces and you run in pairs so you will run with someone. Pendle Cloughs Fell Race (AL), Sat 11 May, 11am.
The fourth Bingley, and next English, Fell Champs race. Entry is still possible; a waiting list is being actively managed and there are only 4 on it so you are likely to get a place. Also substitutions can be made so if you know you can no longer make it you can substitute another Bingley Harrier in. Calderdale Way Relay Sun 19 May
Mixed team entered. Let Paul know if you could run to cover late changes.

Austwick Amble (BM, 13km, 370m, age 18 and over). Mon 27th May 1pm.
The fifth Bingley Fell Champs (BFC) race –– alongside the Austwick Street Market. A well marked route suitable for most abilities. Senior entries are open on-line (£8) https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?event_id=12700 or Enter on the Day (EoD) for £12. Junior races ages 8-18 from 11 am.

Bradford Millenium Way Relay Sun 9th Jun
Some teams in but scope for more at all paces – See Team App Event and let Paul / Nicola / Jo H / Becky know if you are interested / available.

Buttermere Sailbeck (AM, 15km, 1305m). Sat 15 Jun
The sixth Bingley, and next English, Fell Champs race. Entries open. This is an Eng Fell Champs race and already has over 400 entries so don’t delay. https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=13420

Eldwick Gala Fell Race (BS, 4.8km 168m) Sat 29 Jun 3pm
Organised by Bingley Harriers – our very own race alongside a fantastic Gala so get yourself booked in when entries open on Team App in May

Wasdale (AL, Sat 13 Jul) – Not a Bingley Fell Champs race but if you are aiming for the Eng Fell Champs you may need or want to do this. Heptonstall Festival Race (AS, 9.5km, 500m, age 16 and over) Sat 6 Jul 11.30
Bingley Fell Champs (BFC) No 7. Enter on the day £6.

Ingleborough (AM, 11km, 600m) Sat 20 Jul 3pm
BFC No 8. Entries open. Pre-enter £10 https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=13199. EOD £15 if not full. The race runs alongside Ingleton Gala Day so a great day out for all the family

Blisco Dash (AS, 8km, 609m, age 16 and over) Sat 27 Jul 1pm
BFC No 9 and Eng Fell Champs counter. Entries open Wed 1 May 7am (today!). Be quick.
