Bingley Harriers 2026 Fell Championship. Update 14 Jan 2026
Here is the Fell Championship for 2026. There is a change from the Provisional list from Dec. Hoppits Hill, near Huddersfield, has replaced Midgely Moor on the same date Sun 15 Feb . There were no Bingley entries for MM at 14 Jan.
Why? 1. Reduce event clashes (M Mr , H Hl and a Peco XC clash. HH is the Junior Yorks Fell Champs and an opportunity for Juniors to get a Yorks. Vest so is considered a priority for the Club Jun Fell Champs) 2. Combine a Senior and Junior event to brings Sens & Juns together. 3 Enable Junior parents / supporters, many of whom run, to join in with the Senior Fell Champs. The clash with the Peco, which is not our primary Junior XC League and, as a club we are not able to affiliate to the Peco League for Seniors, is unfortunate but beyond our control.
So how does it work? Your best 4 of 9 races, a minimum of three, and must include 2 distances from Short, Medium and Long. You must wear your Bingley Harriers vest. I will put more detail out shortly on Team App (Disciplines, Events etc). So get your entries in (Hoppits Hill is open) and book the other dates in your diary. Some fill very quickly so put the ‘entries open’ dates in your diary too.
