FRANK WHEELER

I regret to report the recent death of Frank Wheeler, a Past President of the club, due to illness. Frank joined the club in 1958 and ran road, cross country and fell. He was a prominent member and served on the committee for many years. When he retired some years ago, he moved with his wife, Diane, from their home in Baildon to Cornwall and continued to keep in touch with colleagues in Bingley Harriers.
To many older members, Frank was known for leading interesting routes on training runs and became known to many of us as the Pied Piper. RIP Frank.
