(2) The Junior 1.6km Race will not, unfortunately, take place this year. The Race Organiser can no longer organise the race and a new RO could not be found at short notice. As an alternative there is the Eldwick Scout & Guide Family Fun Run 1.5miles, 7pm on Friday 24th Jun from Eldwick Memorial Hall (entry form attached under Files) , with ‘burnt banger’ B-B-Q and drinks from the Birches Club. On Gala day (Sat 25th afternoon) there are also children’s races in the Gala arena. 2O JUN#

A short fell race from the Eldwick & Gilstead Gala starting at 3pm in the village and visiting the Hope Hill trig point on Baildon Moor. It includes rough and steep terrain. Minimum age 13 (U15 FRA Age category, if not 13 on race day contact race organiser). Registration will close at 2.45.

I accept the hazards inherent in fell running and acknowledge that I am, or my child is, entering and running this race at my or their own risk
I confirm that I am , or my child is, aware of the rules imposed on me by the Race organiser and that I, or my child, will comply with them
I confirm that I have read and and I, or my child, will comply with the FRA ‘Requirements for Runners’ (https://files.fellrunner.org.uk/documents/2022/fra-requirements-for-runners-2022.pdf) and especially the ‘absolute no-nos’ of fell running
I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for determining whether I, or my child, has the skills, equipment and fitness to participate in this event
I accept that neither the Race Organiser not the Fell Runners Association shall be liable to me, or my child, for any injury, loss or damage of any nature to me, or my child or the the porperty of myself, or my child, arising out of participation in this race (other than in respect of death or personal injury as a result of their neglect)
I consent to publication of my, or my child’s, name, club, race category, race number, finishing time and race position in race pre-entry and results lists, and to the sharing of all the above details with trusted partner organisations (e.g. UK Athletics) for disciplinary purposes of otherwise where necessary in the interests of the sport
