Last Thursday Food – how have we got to the end of April so quickly. Track & Field has kicked off with space for more competitors and helpers – if interested contact Colin Daniel (colinjdaniel@gmail.com) or Jill Jones (secretary@bingleyharriers.org.uk). Club Road and Fell Championships are on the go and open to all – there is still time to get involved – See Disciplines. Pick up with fellow runners to organise training activity for your own personal targets.
On the last Thursday of each month (usually!) we head into the Bradford & Bingley clubhouse between 8.15 and 9, after the Group Runs* to tuck into Pie, Chips and Peas. Plans are for a large homemade tray meat pie (£4.50) or veg option. If you have any more specific dietary needs let me know. With the lighter evenings runs may start to venture off-road more – but if you want a road option just let us know. With a drink and a chat – plan out all your running, find out what’s going on, or just catch up with someone you haven’t seen for a while. Pay cash or card on the night to Louise in the kitchen.

You can do a ‘Road Out and Back’. 30 mins Out, turn round and 30 minutes Back (or 29 if you want an extra challenge) – at a good, but sustainable pace – no slowing down on the way back, or for the extra challenge, step it up a notch on the way back. All on the same route so the faster runners will be catching up on the way back, and you all get back at the same time ;-). Or we can head out to explore on the paths and trails.
So get yourself down to run, eat and chat. If you can’t make both you are welcome to either just run or just eat – please RSVP to this event so we can gauge numbers.
