John Hewitt Shelf Moor – the final race in the Club Fell Champs and your last opportunity score points or simply be in the results. Another Short but full on, a Dark Peak special, and an English Fell Champs counter too. Assume full kit will be required.
Details :
Women’s Race: 11:00 , Men’s Race: 12:30
Minimum age: 18
Skills & experience:ER, PM, LK, NS
Route: Flagged & Marshalled
Entries : https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=11931
Entries are limited to 250 for each race – still plenty of space for the Women’s race and a short Waiting List for the Men – so still a good chance of getting an entry, so enter now.

Map – see map in header or attached file

We already have a number of runners entered and it would be great to see more. Any queries – contact Becky or Andy as below.
Full details of the Club Fell Champs are in the Fell section under Disciplines.
All the races are run under Fell Runners Association rules – see Requirements for Runners on https://www.fellrunner.org.uk/documents.php. Assume you need full kit and note that electronic / GPS navigation aids are not allowed in races.

If you are new to the fells but would like to give it a go we can help with advice, kit, maps etc. I would like as many people to join in as possible even if you can’t manage 6 events to score.
We are targeting teams at the English Fell Champs races and relay teams for the Bradford Millenium Way and the October Fell Relays in the Lakes – Hodgson Brothers Mountain Relay (Sun 1 Oct) and the British Fell Relay (Sat 21 Oct). Teams are now entered for the October relays – get in touch if you are interested for this year – it always helps to have more people available – or next; even if you are new to the fells we can help you build your fell skills and experience so you are ‘ready to relay’, and next year comes around surprisingly quickly ;-).
Get in touch with the Fell Team Managers Becky Weight (beckyweight@btinternet.com) or Andy Jebb (andrewjebb2@gmail.com) if you are interested or to chat about what would be good for you, or pick up with some of the regular fell runners on our training sessions.
