This event is a competition between runners and cyclists with (usually) the first 10 in each category to score. The winning team holds the Fisherman Trophy for one year. The trophy is named after The Fisherman Inn close to where the race starts.

PLEASE NOTE A CUT-OFF TIME AT GLEN ROAD WILL BE IMPLEMENTED THIS YEAR DUE IT BEING LATER IN NOVEMBER – SUNSET IS 4PM – SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS.

Start: 14:00 from Milner Field, along the canal east from the Fishermans Inn and across the bridge.
CUT-OFF TIME AT OUTWARD CROSSING OF GLEN ROAD: 2:45PM – if you reach the road after this time you will be disqualified and asked to turn back. This is based on an anticipated slowest time of 90 minutes. This year the race is being held later in November than usual and we want marshals to be comfortable and safely off the top of Baildon moor before the light goes.

Registration: registration, number collection and parking from 12 noon at Bradford and Bingley Rugby Club
Parking at the Rugby Club: £2 CASH ONLY
Race Entry: £10.00 Pre-entry only (race entry is not yet available but will be added soon)
Closing date for entries: Fri 24th November 2023 6pm
Presentation (and pie and peas tbc): at the Rugby club after the race.

Race Entry Conditions :
• I accept the hazards inherent in fell running/cyclocross and acknowledge that I am entering and running/cycling this race at my own risk.
• I confirm that I am aware of the rules imposed on me by the Race Organiser and that I will comply with them.
• I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for determining whether I have the skills equipment and fitness to participate in this event.
• I accept that neither the Race Organiser nor the Fell Runners Association shall be liable to me for any injury, loss or damage of any nature to me or my property arising out of my participation in this race (other than in respect of death or personal injury as a result of their negligence).
• I consent to publication of my name, club, race category, race number, finishing time and race position in race pre-entry and results lists, and to the sharing of all the above details with trusted partner organisations (e.g. UK Athletics) for disciplinary purposes or otherwise where necessary in the interests of the sport.
• I accept the cut-off time stated in the race description above and will not proceed past that point if I arrive at the cut-off location after that time.
