Location: Cottingley Woods Estate and environs.
Start and Finish Location.
Cottingley Woods. Broad triangular area at path junction Approx 400 metres from Beckfield Road Cottingley.

Age 15 and under on race day. – entry fee £2.00
2.25 miles (3.62KM
This will be an out and back run on the main track, turning left after Black Hills Scout Camp, passing the Folly and then down hill towards Sandybanks but turning around at the bottom of the hill just before the wall.
Junior runners will retrace their steps and return by the outbound route.

Senior Race – See Map photo
16 and over on race day – 3.45miles (5.56KM ) – Entry Fee £3.00
This will start and finish in the same place as the Juniors.
This will head on same route as Juniors, going past the Folly and all the way down to Sandybanks.
Here it will turn left and join the route of the Millennium Way but instead of crossing the field to Wilsden it will head up hill and follow the MW route in the reverse direction, all the way to the road at Lee Lane, 30 metres north of Lee Lane Farm. At this point the Handicap Route will leave the Milllenium Way Route and will continue North along the Lee Lane, passing Bank Top Farm and quarry before descending the Aire and Calder Link Bridleway to arrive bank and Sandybanks.
The Handicap Route then turns right to enter the woods and rejoin the outbound route and retraces this back to the start / finish area.
