Club and English Fell Championship race. Short and sharp, but on Lake District scale, to the top of Pike O Blisco and back. Fast road start, then steady climb up to Blea Tarn, a steeper rough path up Redacre Gill , and a scrambly climb to the top, before finding your way back again – as fast as you dare and visibility allows.
Separate Womens (1pm) and Mens (2.45) races. Entries still open on SI Entries https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?elid=Y&event_id=13554.
There are over 500 entries so far (10 Jul) and it’s not clear what the race limit is so don’t delay if you want an entry. Assume full FRA kit will be required – it is the Lake District and the tops can be rough even in summer – and we are still waiting for some summer this year!
